About Us

We are a family-run business with extensive experience in the field. Our male and female instructors are qualified and approved to the highest standard by the Driving & Vehicle Standards Agency. If you need trained instructors who are empathetic to your abilities and requirements, we are the ones to approach.

At Focus Rider Training, we believe in making motorbike riding a safe and fun affair. All of our instructors are DVSA qualified and trained in safe motorcycle riding. From training you on riding rules to feeling really confident riding your machine we will train you on everything you need to know. We also provide riding gear on loan during the course and during the test.

Larger Training Area

Having a substantially larger training area enables us to more effectively prepare trainee riders for their MOD1 manoeuvres allowing for some great practice before going to the actual test centre. Once at the centre we will run a mock test on the MMA to familiarise the rider with the actual testing site.

Our large training area provides trainees with the perfect opportunity to safely practice increasingly fast manoeuvres such as high-gear changes.

Also with all this extra space we can now comfortably accommodate group bookings of up to 8 riders at a time.

Completed my CBT at Focus a few days ago, after not riding for over 40 years. From my first phone call to actually completing the training, everyone has been so friendly and helpful with plenty of encouragement along the way. A special mention to Stacey for her patience and positive attitude on the day, nothing was too much trouble. Well! where do I start...I have had such a great experience with Focus, they made me feel welcome from the beginning! had such a laugh with them all. They also gave me confidence when I wasn't feeling it and that makes such a difference. I trained on their lowered Kawasaki Z650 and they made sure I had the bike throughout my training. I would HIGHLY recommend this training school!! Great instructors and just genuinely amazing people! going to miss you all.

Passed my DAS with focus, I can not fault them, the whole team are incredible, they put you at easy on test day, any question not a bother for them and work around you. My girlfriend was due to give birth and had to change at last minute due to being induced happy to do. Went on to pass first time on both mod 1&2 with Laura, Jeff, Kevin and John. Big shout out to Stacey and Alexandra for booking me in and moving me around. Hats off 10/10.
